Welcome to my new web site! I hope you like it as much as I do. Even though it was a work in progress for a little while, I think the wait was worth it. Having said that, I want to thank John Chitwood of Renaissart Design for all his hard work, his clever design, but most of all I want to thank him for putting up with me. Something like a hundred years ago when I was still using a typewriter, my son David gave me a gift certificate to be used for a web page. (Like I even knew what a web site was at that point in time. The gift certificate came with a computer that was like something from another planet). John worked on the web site while I fought with the computer, plopped a green plant on top of it that eventually grew into the keyboard. Eventually and a new keyboard much much later, I buckled down and learned how to use it. When it was time to redo the web site all these years later, I called John never thinking he would remember me but he did because as he said, I was his only gift certificate ever. John and I would love to hear your comments. Be kind. Be effusive. We thrive on compliments. Now, here we go and this is so long overdue I am embarrassed to even admit it but I will anyway. None of you would be checking out my web site, I wouldn’t be writing books if it wasn’t for those super duper people at Kensington Publishing. This is the only way I can think of to shower them with accolades they so deserve. And it isn’t enough. So I will add my love and affection to Walter, Steve, (and Brinkley- he’s a dog nut like me), Laurie, Audrey, Martin, Doug, and Michala. I also want to thank all the other staff who I don’t know personally who work so hard behind the scenes to bring my books to you, my wonderful, faithful readers. Thank you, thank you, thank you. All of you, please stay well, keep reading and I’ll keep writing. Last but not least, Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you. You are all in my heart. Fern |
