Dear Fern Michaels,

Well it’s been a long time coming and a lot of volunteer quilters hours but attached is YOUR beautiful “SPECIAL” quilt square with your “SPECIAL” signature (This is “tweaked” on my computer; will look even “sharper” on the QUILT)! Thank you again! The photo is special too! It was taken by my husband Michael when we went to Ireland and it was a place I pictured the “SISTERHOOD” just might “retreat” to for one of their great “brain-storming” meetings to work another “masterful plan!” I hope you are as pleased as I am! My Quilt Coordinator (who just happens to be our Librarian too!) is a true artist and she, and the other volunteers, are doing a beautiful job on the quilt (even though it is still in it’s infancy stage).

During our “once-in-a-lifetime” phone conversation (which you can read about on the “Quilt” tab of my website where I’ve provided a link to yours!), you mentioned to let you know when you could buy “chances.” Well, the website is ready to “rock n’ roll” (at least good enough for government work!) And speaking of…due to the Utah gambling laws (which unfortunately I have to abide by), the “structure” is as such…”You DONATE to the library, and in appreciation of that, you will have a chance to WIN the quilt or autographed book collection!” You can read about it on the DONATE tab of the website also!
